My name is Heather Anderson. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I provide therapy to children, adolescents, and families experiencing a vast array of emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a bachelor’s degree in child development and family relations at the University of Idaho. I received my master’s degree in social work at Eastern Washington University. I have been providing therapy services for the past four years. I specialize in individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, and parenting problems.
I believe that individuals are the experts in their own lives. I provide a client-centered, strengths-based approach in which various therapeutic modalities are chosen from in order to meet the needs of each individual. My theoretic
framework includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Based Therapy. I tailor my therapy style to meet the needs of each individual. I will work closely with you to make sure your treatment goals are what you are wanting them to be.
