Dr. Mohammed S. Simjee

Mohammed S. Simjee, MD is a graduate from Sindh Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. He followed with his Post Doctoral Fellowship in Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. Dr. Sinjee’s residency in psychiatry was at Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus, NJ. Dr. Simjee has maintained his position as a staff psychiatrist at Capitol Region Mental Health Center in Hartford, Connecticut. I welcome a safe place for all patients to seek help dealing with their present mental health issues. It’s important to listen and understand my patients while developing a treatment plan to address relationship difficulties or help with adjusting to challenging life changes. My goal is to help patients help themselves balance their way through life and appreciate the improvements they make. My focus is to bring healing in a way as to teach patients to understand themselves.
I offer medication management along with referrals to my team of therapists who deal in different areas of mental health therapy.
