My name is Nicole Gordon. I am from Towanda, Pennsylvania (near Williamsport), and I have a Master’s degree in Education, and was a high school English teacher for 9 years. I decided my passion was working with people individually to explore their strengths and work with them to overcome obstacles in their lives. I went back to school, and earned my Master’s in Social Work from Edinboro University so that I could work with people on a more personal scale. I have a teenage daughter, and two pit bulls, and they keep me quite busy! I enjoy learning, and take special interest in the ways in which trauma, substance use, mental health, and/or our perceptions affect our behavior and the world around us.
